Amanda O’Brien is a Transport & Logistics Professional and the CEO and Managing Director of Australian Worldwide Logistics Pty Ltd trading as Xtreme Freight with head office based in Melbourne. Amanda’s particular expertise is in strategy and solving logistical challenges for Global Freight Forwarders and increasing efficiencies in the supply chain through strong partnerships and transparent analysis. Her belief is that developing people’s talents is fundamental to achieving great results and that flexibility and outside the box thinking is the greatest catalyst for change which is essential in keeping up with globalisation.
Past experience in diverse fields ranging from Telecommunications, Airlines and Retail holding both management and procurement roles has seen Amanda involved in projects that return investment to companies with people at the core. Joshua Holmes over the past 8 years has been assisting companies with the development of their staff with specialised industry training in Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing, Food Processing and Business. Also consulting with Organisations in regards to CoR, WH&S, Fatigue Management, Lean and best practice.
Joshua gained his knowledge for the Transport & Logistics Industry and others due to his previous employment within these industries as well as four years in Vocational Rehabilitation Services which exposed him to Employers from many different organisations and their ongoing concerns of their daily operating procedures. Joshua has a strong focus on promoting the Transport and Logistics Industry to the unemployed and the younger generation looking for a sustainable career choice.

Patrick has over 20 years’ experience in supply chain management and logistics across Australia and Europe with extensive industry experience in automotive, marine, retail and OEM specialised electronics. He is a key member of the leadership team of warehousing specialist TT Logistics, has held several senior management positions and taken responsibility for boarder organisational transformation programs.
With a passion for sales, client development and driving operational efficiencies Patrick stimulates continuous improvement and is well networked. Businesses are putting a premium on credibility, knowledge of their business and the ability to communicate value and Patrick believes the SCLAA plays an important role in developing supply chain and logistics professionals to meet these expectations. In other words Patrick has a unique understanding of what Australian companies are expecting from their service providers.

Erica Gilcrist has been involved in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry for over 20 years. Originally from Detroit, Michigan (USA), Erica spent the first six years of her career working with General Motors both within the 3PL and 4PL space globally.
Her experience spans across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. With expertise in strategic process and business (re) alignment and growth, Erica has worked with/for some of Australia’s leading organisations including Holden, Toll Logistics, Target Australia, Amcor Paper (now Orora), and BlueScope Steel. During her tenure as a private business owner, Erica also sat as Director for Bendigo Community Bank as well as a Regional Delegate on the Mornington Peninsula Tourism Board of Directors.

Stanley is currently the Logistics Manager of ALDI. Stanley has significant supply chain experience in Fortune 500 companies in mining, IT, engineering and FMCG industries. As a Supply Chain manager he is focused on supply chain optimisation, cost reduction and business improvement.
As Current Vice Chairman and Director, Past WA Division President and Past Chairman of Future Leaders Group of the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia, Stanley has a strong network within and good understanding of key developments in the Supply Chain and Logistics Management industry. Stanley was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the SCL industry in 2010 by being awarded the Future Leaders Award in the Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards.
Stanley is a current committee member and Past Vice President of the apicsAU WA Chapter. He has established several key relationships and strategic initiatives between associations (SCLAA, apicsAU, CILTA and CIPSA), tertiary providers in WA, strategic industry projects in QLD and professional industry associations in Asia. He also represented SCLAA (WA) in an introductory meeting with the Taiwan International Logistics and Supply Chain Association (TILSCA) in 2009.

Mark is a Certified Professional Logistician (SCLAA Accredited 2015) with expertise in all facets of Contract Administration and Supply Chain Management. He has held Management positions within asset intensive organisations and currently is the Logistics Supervisor at SEQWater based in Brisbane, Queensland.
He has Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management from Central Queensland University as well as Business Management qualifications.
Mark has been an active member of the SCLAA Qld Committee since 2002. This has provided him with access to a network of SCM practitioners across the South East corner of Queensland as well as nationally and internationally.

Sue has over 20 years’ experience in strategy & operations, finance and operational management advisory and has provided professional services to the Retail, IT, Automotive, Intermodal Freight and Logistics industries.
With a strong Management Consulting background and exposure to underperforming businesses, turnaround and accelerated transformation situations and previous experience working for and consulting to companies on matters of financial performance, financial management and operational improvement that achieve sustainable value add, Sue has resumed her professional services practice and is the Founder and lead consultant of Chain Consulting.
Sue fell into the logistics industry by accident 10 years ago, having held the position of CFO and interim CEO of Maritime Container Services, the largest privately-owned intermodal terminal operator in Australia. Her knowledge of the containerized freight sector (road and rail) and all its associated challenges for the movement of IMEX products -both rural and local has led to a passion of being an ambassador for change to reduce costly inefficiencies. She is currently General Manager of DP World Logistics-the only Intermodal Depot at Port Botany and DP World’s first venture into landside logistics in Australia.
Sue has a strong network of operator/owners and contacts and looks forward to fostering collaboration across key stakeholders in the Containerized freight transport and logistics sector from Paddock to Port (or Port to DC, whatever the case may be).
