Divisional President: Brett McGowran
Brett is currently the Supply Chain Deployment Director for Pacific region at Schneider Electric. A high energy leader, committed to learning, sharing and trying to stay ahead of the competition.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Management, a Bachelor of Computer and Information Science, an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has trained as a Six Sigma Blackbelt.
He has been with Schneider Electric for over 21 years, where he has held various roles across Asia Pacific related to Quality, Industrialisation, Strategy and Transformation.
During this time he has witnessed the evolution of Supply Chains throughout the world, as they have become more tailored, more agile, more sustainable and fully digitized.
For the last 5 years Brett has been contributing to the Pacific deployment of Schneider’s hugely successful global supply chain program called TSC4.0 – Tailored, Sustainable and Connected.
A program that is delivering superior customer experience and is in-line with Industry 4.0 ambitions, but a program that is also proving it can create supply chains that are extremely resilient to the disruptions caused by the Covid19 pandemic.
Essentially a digital strategy, that in 2020 saw Schneider Electric recognised as 4th in Gartner’s Global assessment of the Top 25 Supply Chain companies worldwide, climbing 7 positions from 2019.
Brett has had the privilege of seeing how large multi-nationals are investing to digitize and develop their supply chains to deliver superior customer satisfaction, sustainability and competitive advantage.
He hopes that by taking the lead in SA/NT he can help share his experiences across the region and use his knowledge and networks to really support local organisations and to stimulate and grow the professional community.
