The SCLAA Victorian awards were held at the William Angliss Institute on the evening of the 31st October. Upon arrival at the Institute our members, guests, sponsors and award recipients were entertained by the musical trio of Hevika, while enjoying canapés and drinks served by the students from William Angliss.
Our MC Jeanne Snider, announced the award winners and gave a very insightful, amusing, topical talk on emotional intelligence in relation to managing your communication style with suppliers and customers.
Daniel Esdaile from Australia Post won the Victorian Future Leader’s Award, and the Victorian Future Leaders High Recommendation was awarded to Natalie Pavlic from Honda. Sean Milne Victorian Sales Manager for DB SCHENKER presented both winners with their awards.
Asixa won the Training & Development Award, the trophy was accepted by Roger Bradbury and presented by Steve Harrison -Director Contract Logistics – Southern Region for CEVA.
Honda won the Victorian Environmental Excellence Award, the trophy was accepted by Priyani Withanarachi and presented by Grant Gurney- General Manager Business Development for Yusen Logistics.
Amanda O’Brien from Xtremefreight won the Industry Excellence Award, presented by John Cotter -Business development consultant for TWUSUPER.

The William Angliss Event management students did a brilliant job ensuring all our needs were catered for, and the dinner served was enjoyed by all.
