Expressions of interest sought for a logistics delegation to The Netherlands

The Australian Logistics Council is seeking expressions of interest in participating in a logistics delegation to the Port of Rotterdam and Intermodal Europe 2016, to be held in Rotterdam from 15-17 November.

This delegation is a follow-up to the Australian Port Mission to Netherlands from 25 October – 31 October 2015. A copy of the report from the delegation is available here.

The program will be tailored around delegates’ requirements and the Netherlands Consulate-General in Sydney will be assisting to organise meetings.

The Netherlands has the best port infrastructure in the world according to the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2013-2014. Dutch (port) companies have translated a lot of knowledge and expertise into innovative products and applications that contribute to efficiency, productivity, (cyber) security and sustainability in ports.

It is proposed the mission will take in port related organisations, port logistics and intermodal terminals.

The program will be at delegates expense.

Participation: For questions about the delegation, please contact Michael Kilgariff.
Please submit expressions of interest by Friday, 29 April 2016.
